Gary Lee Nate, age 60, of W478 Rusch Road in Brillion, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his residence as a result of a farming accident. Gary was born on February 13, 1952 in Green Bay, son of Emily (Pritzl) Nate and the late Wilber Nate. He was a graduate of Brillion High School, class of 1971. On April 27, 1991, he married Joan Mary Mueller at St. Mary Catholic Church in Stockbridge. Gary has been farming since the age of 8, helping on his family farm and then owning and working his own farm with his wife. Gary is survived by his wife: Joan; their son: Bill; his mother: Emily; six sisters and four brothers-in-law: Beverly (Ted) McGee, Marlene (Gene) Kuchenbecker, Joan Nate, Patty Nate, Judy (Todd) Aplin, and Karen (Dale) Behnke; other in-laws: Melvin Mueller, Shirley (Robert) Hanke, Jerry Mueller, Arleen (Ken) Arenz, Judy (Joe) Thiel, Dorothy (Al) Broker, and Ed Mueller; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Wilber, his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Hilary and Genevieve (Salm) Mueller, and a sister-in-law: baby Irene Mueller. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Timothy Brandt. Burial will be in the Holy Family Parish Cemetery in Brillion.
