George J. Kruse, age 57, of N8951 Holmes Road, Brillion died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 15, 2011. He was born in New London on April 21, 1953, son of Lois (Tyrrell) Kruse and the late George Kruse Jr. He worked at the Brillion Iron Works in the finishing department for over 38 years until his recent retirement. George loved spending time with his grandchildren and camping up north. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan and loved attending his childrens and grandchildrens sporting events. George was the originator of the KRUUUUSE call at his childrens games. He was a recent fan of facebook where he had many friends. Survivors include his children Brandi (Tim) Trace of Brillion, Adriane (Jeff) Thiel of Little Chute, Robin Kruse of Appleton; his grandchildren Karter, Cale, Gavin and baby Trace, Rayna and James Thiel; his mother Lois Schwartz of Sobieski; his sisters and brothers Lynn (Gene) Czech of Pulaski, Michael Kruse of Green Bay, Kathy Henn of Green Bay, Nanette Kruse of Sobieski, Jim Kruse and friend Debi Wichman of Gillett, Larry Kruse of Sobieski, Sherry Ryba and fianc Eric Olson of Oneida; Godchild Jill Henn of San Francisco, CA, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. George was preceded in death by his father. Funeral mass will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18th at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Larry Abler O.F.M. will officiate. Burial will take place in Holy Family Cemetery, Brillion. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of mass.
