Geraldine L. Besaw

Geraldine L. Besaw, age 82, of Brillion, died on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at her home.

She was born on February 14, 1936 in Oshkosh, daughter of the late Godfrey and Bertha (Franzen) Koplitz. Geraldine married William Besaw in February of 1961. She was a homemaker who loved to cook, bake and do crafty things. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion and the Fox River Valley Association of The Deaf.

Survivors include her children, Dennis Besaw (Mary) of Kaukauna, Mary (Robert) Wisniewski of Kaukauna, Faye (Wayne) Pribbernow of Brillion, Anne Meyer of Brillion, James Besaw (Joann) of Brillion, 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 sisters, Rosie Hansen of Neenah, LaVerne Bloedow, Nancy Samida, Susan (Greg) Gehrke and Diane (Don) Sonnleitner all of Oshkosh and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband William, a daughter Lori, a grandson Tyler and a sister Marian. Mass of Christian burial will take place at NOON on Monday, March 19th at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 West Ryan St. Brillion.

The Rev. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Brillion.
