Gerhold "Gerry" Noeldner, age 84, of Brillion, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Brillion West Haven. Gerry was born on May 31, 1930 in Brillion, son of the late Paul and Ella (Krueger) Noeldner, Sr. He was a graduate of Brillion High School, class of 1948. Gerry served our country in the United States Army from 1951 - 1953. On June 27, 1954 he married Doris Marquardt at St. John Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. The couple recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Gerry worked at the Brillion Iron Works in the Accounting Department and in Plant Engineering for 45 years, retiring in 1992. He was very active in the community in which he belonged his entire life. Gerry was a lifelong member at Trinity Lutheran Church, serving on the church council in numerous office positions, as well as serving on the finance and budget boards. Gerry enjoyed singing and was a member of the Concordia Church Choir for 65 years. He also served on the Brillion Area Credit Union Board of Directors for 28 years, was in the Local Chapter of the National Association of Accountants, played golf in the Brillion Iron Works League, and was a member with his wife of the WELS Lutheran OWLS. He was a devoted family man and enjoyed spending time traveling, wintering in Arizona, playing golf, and fishing. Overall, family was the number one priority in Gerry's life. Gerry is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Doris of Brillion. They were blessed with four sons and one daughter. Their five children and families are: Dr. Steven and Pamela of Newport Beach, CA; Scott and Heike of Colorado Springs, CO and children: Jason (Jessica) and Christopher; Mark and Ruth of South Bend, IN and children: Joshua and Jacob; Michael and Juli of Katy, TX and children: Patrick, Megan, Tristan, Aiden, Ali King, and Austin King; and Lori (Noeldner) and Joel Hassler of Whitefish Bay, WI and children: Blake and Brenna; one soon-to-be great-grandchild; one brother: Paul Jr. of Suamico; one sister: Margaret Pahl of Brillion; one brother-in-law: Dale Marquardt of Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by four brothers-in-law: Roger Pahl, Dr. William (Patricia) Marquardt, Edgar Marquardt, and Walter Marquardt; two sisters-in-law: Alma Leiser and Laura (Eugene) Roach; one niece: Judy King; and one great-niece: Kari Lindsey. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 NOON on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Ross Henzi. Military Honors will be accorded by the Becker, Bloedorn, Jensen American Legion Post 126 of Brillion. Burial will take place in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Brillion. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Online condolences may be made. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion honoring Gerry's memory.
