Geri Lynn (Pickart) Burns, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. She was born on February 3, 1962, to Jerome and Dolores (Enders) Pickart of Mt. Calvary, Wisconsin; the sixth of nine daughters.

She graduated from New Holstein High School in 1980. On September 5, 1981, she married David G. Burns at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mt. Calvary. David preceded her in death on June 13, 2008.

She will be remembered by her children for a number of accomplishments. Not only was she the 7th grade one-on-one basketball champion, but she was also the inventor of Christmas tree bowling.

Geri was deeply loved. She is survived by her children Jacob, Jamie, Erick, and Aiden; and her grandchildren, Kitana and Zakaria. She is also survived by her sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Dolores; her husband, David Burns; and her sister, Kathleen Meyer.

The family will honor Geri's wishes with a private service.

Her children would like to extend their gratitude to her posse for showing up, for not only her, but us as well.
