Gertrude Ross

Gertrude "Gertie" Ross, age 89, of Brillion, died on Sunday March 17, 2013 at Calumet Medical Center in Chilton. She was born on February 29, 1924 in the Town of Rockland, daughter of the late Carl & Margaret (Boldt) Behnke. On January 12, 1946 Gertie married William Ross. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. Survivors include a son Jim (Monica) Ross of The Woodlands TX, 2 daughters, Joanne (David) Suchan of Reedsville, Nancy (Tom) Schwartz of Westland MI, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, a sister LaVerne Schwahn of Brillion, a brother Marvin (Kathy) Behnke of Kaukauna and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband William on June 28, 1988 and a sister Lorella Paul. Funeral service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday March 21, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Ross Henzi and Rev. Jonathan Bourman will officiate. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 5:30 p.m. Online condolences may be made at www.wieting-funeralhome.com
