Gloria Clara Heller joined her savior and beloved husband in the Heavenly Kingdom on the evening of December 18, 2020. Gloria was born on April 25, 1937 to William Gebel and Edith (Zerbe) Gebel in Milwaukee, a salesman and homemaker. She graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School in 1955 and met her future husband, Ronald James Heller, while on a double-date. Though they were not paired for the date, they fell in love at first sight and married November 15, 1958. The wife of a retired USMC First Sargent, Gloria was admired for her strength, perseverance, religious conviction, and dry wit. She had three sons, Craig Steven, Chris Alfred, and Ronald James, Jr., whom she raised on both coasts at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina and Costa Masa, California near Tustin Air Station. In 1975 Gloria and Ronald settled in Grafton, where they stayed until retiring to Coloma. Later they moved to the Palm Springs area of southern California for the sunshine and warmth. While in California, Gloria and Ronald became active members of the Assemblies of God Fellowship. Gloria was immensely proud of her family back in Wisconsin, and often enthusiastically relayed their accomplishments and milestones to church friends. After Ronald's promotion to the Heavenly Kingdom in 2017, she returned to Wisconsin to live in New Holstein near family. Gloria is survived by her three sons, Craig (Cheryl) Heller, Chris (Laura) Heller, and Ronald, Jr. (Eileen) Heller, as well as 7 grandchildren and their spouses, and 7 great-grandchildren. Her family expresses their gratitude to the staff at Willow Park Place (New Holstein) and St. Elizabeth's Hospital (Appleton). In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria's memory can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
