Gloria Jean Krueger

Gloria Jean Krueger, age 81, a lifelong Hilbert resident, joined her husband and daughter in Heaven on Thursday, September 8 ^th at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton. She was born on July 27 ^th , 1941 in Waupaca, daughter of the late Orville and Donna (Knutson) Handrich. On April 8 ^th , 1967 she married Merlin Krueger in Brillion. He preceded her in death on July 10 ^th 2014. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hilbert. Gloria cared for her children and loved being a mom and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, playing cards, gardening, canning, and making rosettes. She was an avid Packer fan. Some of her best memories were spent camping with her family.

Survivors include her children, Ron (Kathy) Mittelsteadt of Allouez, Mark (Sandy) Mittelsteadt of California, Tina (Scott) Broehm of Stockbridge, Todd (Lauri) Krueger of Menasha, grandchildren, Ashley (Nicholas) Wichman, Travis (Brittany) Broehm, Adam (Kayley) Broehm, Austyn Krueger, Kayla Krueger, Thomas (Nicole) Mittelsteadt, Michael (Alicia) Balderas, AJ (Melanie) Mittelsteadt, and Jami Mittelsteadt, great grandchildren, Isaiah, Noah, Eli, Amelia, Devina, Daysan, Adrienne, Aiden, Kira, Emery, Marvel, Hunter, Amelia, Mackenzie, Mason & Cali; her brother Larry Handrich, Sister Andrea Wanty both of Florida, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Harold (Faye) Krueger, Gilbert Krueger, Willard (Lana) Krueger, Diane Kratz, her beloved dog Daisy, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Melvin Mittelsteadt; her second husband, Merlin, daughter Corinna, great granddaughter Mackenzie, brothers Donny Handrich and Gary Handrich, sister Darlene, father-in-law and mother-in-law Gilbert and Cora Krueger, sister-in-law Jan Krueger, and brothers-in-law Arthur Kratz and Bill Wanty.

Private family services were held, and burial will take place at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca on Thursday at 10:00 a.m.
