Grace L. King, 95, of Crandon, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2017.
She was born Ocotober 10, 1921, in Crandon to John & May (McCauley) Agin.
On November 9, 1940, she married Elmer King in Crandon. Grace worked for the Crandon School District as a cook for 30+ years. Grace, in her later years, worked for the Forest County Department on Aging.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Pauline Rasmussen; two granddaughters, Donna (Brian) Gau and Diana (Dave) Ambrosius; a great-grandson, Brad Ambrosius; special niece, Denver (Jim) Kalkofen; and a special nephew, Thomas (Barbara) Tyler. In addition she is survived by, Jill (David) Zuydhoek, David (Jody) Kalkofen, Tera (Tim) Richmond, Tyler & Jenna Zuydhoek, Kollin & Kolton Kalkofen, Liza & Jacqueline Tyler, and Madeline & Drew Richmond. She is further survived by many nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
In addition to her parents, John & May Agin, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; her son-in-law, Tom Rasmussen Jr., her sisters, Leone Bailey, Lydia Rodgers, and Edith Bradle; 13 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 10, 2017, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 501 N. Park Avenue, Crandon, WI 54520. Rev. Neil Varmum will officiate.
Family and friends may greet the family at the church on Friday, March 10th from 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM.
Grace will fondly be remembered for her story telling, love of family & animals, adventures, and robust laughter.
