Both Grace & Ray were born & raised in Milwaukee and married 9/7/1963. In 1974 they decided to move to Plymouth, WI were they had a small 'hobby' farm. They raised chickens, steers & goats. Having a love for animals, 1985 Mom joined the PeaceCorp for small animal husbandry. She was stationed in the Philippines where she made life long friendships with the people there.
Grace & Ray retired from Plymouth, WI to Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas 1996, where they enjoyed golf and all HSB offered. She quickly involved herself within the community including her church Shepherd of the Hills where she was a member of the choir, Woman's Guild and was part of the musical group, The Blenders. A new hobby she enjoyed was quilting. She was a member of 2 sewing clubs. She was also a member of HSB honorary police department where she was the secretary for many years.
In HSB, with all Grace was involved in, many great friendships were formed and cherished.
Grace wanted to spend her last days in HSB, alas, it was not meant to be. One of her last wishes were for all her friends and family to remember her with a smile.
