Harvey S. Schneider, age 91, of rural St. Cloud, passed away peacefully with his loving daughters and family at his side at his home on Sunday, December 13, 2020. He was born February 6, 1929, in the Town of Forest near St. Cloud to John & Elnor (Rausch) Schneider. He attended St. Cloud Catholic Grade School. Harvey served in the US Army from July 1954 until his discharge in March 1956. On May 8, 1954, he married Lorraine Ebertz at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marytown; Lorraine preceded him in death on April 8, 2018. Harvey had farmed in the Town of Marshfield. In addition, he worked at Bremer Mfg. for 35 years. His knowledge for being able to fix practically anything, was evident as he was called upon many times by his family and friends. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marytown where he also served as an usher. Harvey was also a member of the Marytown Veterans Club and the Holy Name Society. Harvey and his wife enjoyed getting together with the various card club groups. He was an avid Milwaukee Brewers fan. Harvey and his wife enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include his five daughters, his daughter, Rose (Mike) Kaiser of Mount Calvary, and their children, Angie (Matt) Roth, Chris (Sheila) Fisher, Eric (Viola) Kaiser, and Zach (Emily) Kaiser; his daughter, Pat (Carl) Whittaker of Fond du Lac, and their children, Ryan, Jacob, and Kayla Whittaker; his daughter, Linda (Gerry) Lefeber of St. Cloud, and their children, Melissa (Benji) Bink and Amanda; his daughter, Carol (Tony) Schiller of Fond du Lac, and their children, Brian Schiller and Becky (Mike) Huberty; his daughter, Ann (Tim) Stiefvater of Chilton, and their children, Clarissa, Emily Stiefvater-Michelson (Seth), and Nicole Stiefvater; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren with the fourth one on the way; his brother, Henry Schneider; his sister, Mary Ann Wettstein; and his sister-in-law, Loraine Schneider. He is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. Preceding him in death were his wife, Lorraine; his parents, John & Elnor Schneider; his brother, James Schneider; his sisters-in-law, Leora Schneider and Henrietta Schneider; and his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Arthur & Catherine Ebertz. A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 21, 2020, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marytown (N10232 County Road G, New Holstein, WI 53061). Rev. Gary Wegner, OFM Cap will officiate. Harvey will be laid to rest next to his wife, Lorraine in the parish cemetery. Military Rites will follow after the Mass. Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Harvey's family at the church Monday, December 21st from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM.
