Hazel E. Friedman, age 91 of Mt. Calvary died on February 14, 2012 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. Hazel was born on August 18, 1920 in Brussels, WI to Walter and Rachael (Shampo) Smith. Hazel married John D. Friedman on September 26, 1955. He died in 1974. She was a Head Cook at Elk's Lodge in Green Bay for many years and after her marriage she became a Navy wife. She is survived by three children, Shelda Andrews and her special friend Jim of Pembine, John D. Friedman JR and his fiance' Diane of Abrams, Teri (Jeff) Atkinson of Mount Calvary; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; her sister Rachel Chance of Wisconsin Rapids. She is preceded by her parents, her husband, two sons, Wayne and Bobby, a daughter Carol Jean, one great grandchild, six brothers and four sisters. Private services will take place.
