Helen A. Haese with PHOTO Helen Amelia Haese, age 88, of 17819 Hilltop Road, Town of Rockland, died Saturday morning, January 8, 2011 at Northridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc. Helen was born in Potter on November 27, 1922, daughter of the late William and Freda (Klessig) Lemke. On February 2, 1944, she married Howard August Haese Sr. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Rantoul. The couple farmed together for many years and would have been celebrating their 67th wedding anniversary this February. Helen was a member of St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. She enjoyed playing cards and traveling with her husband Howard. Survivors include her husband: Howard, Reedsville; one son and daughter-in-law: Howard Jr. and Nona Haese, Brillion; two daughters and two sons-in-law: Caroline and Roger Bladow, Brillion, and Sharon and Douglas Lemke, Virginia; grandchildren: Troy (Jessica) Haese, Michael (Denise) Haese, Larry (Sheri) Bladow, and Lois (Bruce) Stache; great-grandchildren: Elizabeth, Madison, and Marissa Haese, Michael Jr., Kourtney, and Mitchell Haese, Katelyn Hagenow, Jadynn Glasow, and Erica Bladow; one brother and sister-in-law: William and Florence Lemke, Potter; and one sister: Lonie Benke, Madison. Nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends further survive. Helen was preceded in death by two grandchildren: Timothy and Tanya Haese; one sister and two brothers-in-law: Sophie and Vitus Wiegard and Clifford Benke Sr.; and one sister-in-law: Helma Haese. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning, January 12, 2011, at St. John St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Timothy L. Nommensen, with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum to follow the luncheon. Family and friends may call on Tuesday evening, January 11, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville.
