Helen A. Leitner, age 91 of St. John, died on Thursday August 28, 2014 at the American Grand in Kaukauna. She was born on October 20, 1922 in St. John, daughter of the late Roland & Hattie (Suttner) Stommel. On May 26, 1942 she married Clarence Leitner in St. John. Helen raised 8 children and also worked as a cook at St. John Catholic School. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in St. John and was a member of St. John Christian Mothers for over 50 years. Survivors include her children, LaVerne (Norbert) Haese of Prescott Valley, AZ, Clarence "Butch" (Carol) Leitner of Menominee, MI, Thomas E. Leitner of Gillett, David L. (Debbie) Leitner of Chilton, Steven E. "Squmip" Leitner of Appleton, Richard J. (Jill) Leitner of Hilbert and Jeffrey R. Leitner of New Holstein, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren as well as a great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence on January 27, 1999, a daughter Eileen L.
