Herbert W. Beyer, age 64 of Wayside, died on December 31, 2012 at his home. He was born January 19, 1948 in Green bay, son of Florence (Konken) Beyer and the late Walter Beyer. On June 5, 1976 he married Mary Moran in DePere. After graduating from high school, Herbert served in the U.S. Army and then worked at the Brillion Iron Works for 43 years until his retirement. Herb was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Survivors include his wife Mary, his mother Florence, his children Daniel, Gregory and Angela, his sisters and brothers, Ruth (Richard) Tisler, Alice (William) Lasse, Karen Jerovitz, Alvin (Marcia) Beyer, Linda Bodart, Ronald (Cindy) Beyer, Wayne (Squirrel) Beyer, Judy Beyer, Jean (Richard) Borchardt, Jane (David) Hockers, John (Amy) Beyer, Edward Beyer, Amy (Jack) Van Iten, his in-laws, Dennis (Sandy) Vogels, Patrick (Linda) Moran, William (Patty) Moran, Richard Moran, John (Colleen) Moran, Paul Moran, Joseph (Linda) Moran, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Herb was preceded in death by his father Walter, an infant son Bryan, a sister LiLene Vogels, and a niece Jennifer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, DePere. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and then again on Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. There will be a parish prayer service at 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
