Hildegarde A. Krueger, age 88, of the Chilton Care Center, formerly of Brillion, died on Monday May 10, 2010. She was born on Aug. 5, 1921 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Elsie Brandt. She married Elmer H. Krueger on Feb. 15, 1941 in Sheboygan. Hildegarde graduated from Central High School in Sheboygan in 1940 and worked as a nurses assistant in the area for many years. She loved to travel and help others. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion where she sang in the choir. She also served as chaplain for the American Legion Auxiliary Post #126 in Brillion. Survivors include 2 sons, Richard (JoAnne) Krueger of Sheboygan, Herman (Gail) Krueger of Cascade, 4 grandchildren, Todd Krueger, JoEllen Siebert, Anthony Krueger, Jesse Krueger, and 2 great grandchildren, Rose Krueger and Ian Krueger. She was preceded in death by her husband in July of 1959. Funeral service will be held on Fri. May 14th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Will Krueger will officiate. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Sheboygan. Friends may call at the church on Fri. from 9 a.m. until the time of service. The Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion is assisting the family with arrangements.
