Jacquelyn A. Laures, age 85, of St. Nazianz, passed away with her family at her side on Saturday, February 1, 2025, following a short battle with cancer.

She was born March 30, 1939, in New Holstein, to Daniel & Geraldine (Leschke) Laures. Jacque graduated from St. Isadore Catholic Grade School in Osman, WI and from Valders High School in 1957.

On May 20, 1961, she married Roland Olm Jr.

Starting in 1970, Jacque was instrumental in establishing and managing the retail store at Pine River Dairy near Manitowoc.

Jacque was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz and a member of the St. Nazianz Historical Society.

She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens; she always liked to expand her garden beds, that usually involved the help of her family and with the assistance of a dear friend of hers, Grace Ording.

Survivors include her three daughters, Pamela (Ted) Waak Jr of Cleveland, WI, Shari (Brian) Riesterer of Kiel, and Laurie Olm (special friend, Paul Gilbertson) of Chilton; three grandchildren, Samantha (Dustin) Hammel of Valders, Isaak Riesterer of Clovis, NM, and Eli Riesterer (special friend, Caroline Cannell) of Laramie, WY; two great granddaughters, Ava & Ella Hammel; her sister-in-law, Sally Meyer of Whitelaw; and a niece, Sue Meyer of Whitelaw.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Daniel & Geraldine Laures; her maternal grandparents, Joseph & Lillian Leschke; her paternal grandparents, Charles & Elizabeth Laures; brother-in-law, Gene Meyer; and her former husband, Roland Olm Jr.

Per her wishes, cremation will take place with a private ceremony to be held at a later date.
