James L. Haese, age 63, of Reedsville, passed away Wednesday morning, October 5, 2022 at his home.
James was born on February 1, 1959 in Manitowoc, WI, son of the late Elroy and Ovella (Krueger) Haese. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lutheran High School. On October 11, 1986 he married the former Barbara Bodart at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. James was a life-long dairy farmer and ran the family farm until his passing. He enjoyed collecting knives, watching wrestling and cutting wood. James loved animals, especially cats and dogs.
Survivors include his wife: Barb Haese, Reedsville; his three children: Christopher Haese, Reedsville, Adam Haese USMC, Twentynine Palms, CA, Sara Haese (special friend Isai Rumayor), Reedsville; his siblings: Judy (Michael) Thompson, Milwaukee, Jean (Jon) Schwalbe, Manitowoc, Debra (Robert) White, Woodlawn, TN; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Amy Gehrig, Branch, Clarence (Sue) Bodart, Valders, Joe (Dianne) Bodart, Clarks Mills, Mary (Bill) Schweitzer, Amhurst, Lorraine (Wesley) Wehausen, Cato, Mike Bodart, Manitowoc, Lisa (Rick) Beimborn, Cato. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Harold and Mabel Bodart; one sister-in-law: Deb Bodart; and one brother-in-law: Paul Gehrig.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at St. John-St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Darin Aden.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at St. John-St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
