Janet M. (Wagner) Burg, age 83, of Mount Calvary, passed away with family by her side on Monday, April 24, 2023, at the Villa Loretto in Mount Calvary.

She was born April 27, 1939, to Paul & Marcella "Sally" (Schmitz) Wagner. On April 19, 1958, she married Francis "Franz" Burg at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mount Calvary; Franz preceded her in death on May 19, 2004.

Janet worked as a Dietary Aid at the Villa Loretto for 30 years until her retirement in 2004.

Her greatest love was spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her five children, Randy (Deb) Burg of Kaukauna "Darboy", Jayne (Joe) Butz of West Bend, Ann (Wayne) Knaus of Chilton, Kathy (Mike) Munger of rural Fond du Lac, and Jef (Jodie) Burg of Malone; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; her brothers & sisters, Eugene "Pedro" (Judy) Wagner of St. Cloud, Ruth Welsch of Fond du Lac, Jim (Jane) Wagner of Fond du Lac, and Deb (Bob) Korducki of Mukwonago; her brothers-in-law, Eugene "Gene" Burg of rural St. Cloud and Jerry (Joan) Burg of Mount Calvary. She is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Francis "Franz" Burg and her parents, Paul & Sally Wagner; and her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Frank & Viola Burg.

A Liturgy of the Word will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the Sippel Funeral Home, 1311 Thorp Street St. Cloud, WI 53079.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Janet's family at the Sippel Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 3rd from 10:00 AM until 12:45 PM.

Janet's family expresses their sincere appreciation to the staff at Harbor Haven and Villa Loretto as well as to the family and friends that shared in her journey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to her family for Cristo Rey Ranch.
