Jason “J” “Squirt” “Woof Woof” “Two Dogs” M. Ruether, age 48, of Town of Two Rivers, passed away as a result of an accident on July 14, 2026.

Jason was born to Delmar “Del” & Patricia “Pat” (Ducat) Ruether, on February 7, 1978 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc. He was a graduate of Mishicot High School, class of 1997. Jason was employed with Highway Landscapers in Little Chute as a Mechanic and held previous positions at Robinson Inc., All State Rigging, and Quality State Trucking, as well as multiple other employers.

Jason was always willing to lend a helping hand and enjoyed fixing things for others. Jason enjoyed being outdoors, camping, mud-running and riding his Harley. He was known for his signature middle finger wave and would often ask, “ Awe, Do you need a hug?” For everyone that knew Jason, “F*ck” was a large part of his vocabulary. Above all, his family was the most important thing in Jason’s life, and he cherished spending time with them. He would do anything for his children Max and Abby.

He is survived by his two children: Maximus and Abigail Ruether; his parents: Delmar “Del” & Patricia “Pat” Ruether of Mishicot; siblings and in-laws: Tammy (Dave) Halle of Sheboygan and Michelle (Mark) Koeppel of Two Rivers; nephews: Garrett Koeppel and Brandon Halle; mother of his children: Angie of Mishicot; goddaughter: Kendra Mraz; Special Cousin that was like a big brother, John Ruether; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

A Celebration of Jason’s Life will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at Thirsty Joe’s Bar & Grill, 1237 S. Main St in Mishicot from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A Time of Sharing will take place at 6:00 p.m.

The family has chosen Pielhop Funeral Homes & Cremation Care Centers to honor his legacy of life.
