Jay S.
Divine
Jul 4, 1953 — Apr 19, 2026
Jay Scot Divine, age 72, was called home to Jesus on April 19, 2026.
Jay was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on July 4, 1953, the son of Gene and Esther Divine. He graduated from Sheboygan North High School, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Business Administration. He married the love of his life, Kathryn Lukas, on May 25, 1974, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. They lived in the Sun Prairie area for many years. He began work as a restaurant manager and later worked as a manager at Walgreens Distribution Center in Windsor until his retirement in 2014. He lived out his later years near Brothertown, Wisconsin on Lake Winnebago with his wife Kathy.
Jay had a strong Christian faith and was active in the Lutheran church for his whole life, most recently as an elder at Zion Lutheran Church in New Holstein. He lived by example and tried to show the love of Jesus in all he did. He enjoyed grilling, biking, boating, and reading. Boating to Fox River Brewing Company with loved ones was always a highlight. He had many friends and a close, loving extended family. He was known for his sense of humor and his love of his family.
Jay is survived by his loving wife Kathy, and his children, Aubrie (Nathan) Divine-Scott, Lucas (Andrea) Divine, and Scott (Kathy) Divine, as well as his siblings Bonnie McCance, Mark Divine, and Amber Hahn. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Sierra, Milo, Cubbins, Daisy, Kian, Alice, and Lucy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Esther and Gene Divine, and his father-in-law, Ray Lukas.
