Jeanette Ann Brochtrup

Jeanette Ann Brochtrup, age 74 of Brillion, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay. She was born on July 11, 1942 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Theodore and Margaret (Leick) Rataichek. She married Robert Brochtrup on June 13, 1964 in Reedsville. Jeanette held various jobs in the area and worked at the Brillion Mobil Station until her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards, doing word searches and reading. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion and the Christian Mothers. Survivors include her children, Paul Brochtrup of Brillion and his special friend Carol, Jean (Scott) Trochta of Brillion, John (Lisa) Brochtrup of Greenfield and Michelle Brochtrup of Milwaukee, 10 grandchildren, David and Taylor Brochtrup, Kirsten and Quentin Trochta, Spencer and Jordan Brochtrup, Sean, Ryan, Kevin and Eddie Slattery, a sister Mary Margaret (Ronald) Wondrash of Mesa, AZ, three brothers, Cletus (Emily) Rataichek of Brillion, Michael (Sharon) Rataichek of Hilbert, twin brother Jerome Rataichek of Reedsville and many other relatives and friends. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert and a daughter Judith. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 29, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Timothy Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jeanette’s name.
