Jeanette Pritzl, age 90, formerly of Brillion, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Riversbend Health and Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc. Jeanette was born on June 1, 1922 in Brillion, daughter of the late William and Lena (Weins) Schneider. She attended St. Marys Catholic School and was a graduate of Brillion High School, class of 1941. On September 2, 1942, she married Leo Pritzl at St. Marys Church in Brillion. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2006. Jeanette owned and operated the family farm with her husband Leo, as well as working at Scharbarths Grocery Store, Schmidts Clothing Store, and Larsen Canning Company. She enjoyed sewing, did a lot of craft work, enjoyed playing cards, and traveling up north to the cabin with her husband. Jeanette was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the former St. Marys Church in Brillion, the Christian Mothers and Ladies Solidarity, the Diner Clowns of New Holstein, and was a former member of the Kasson Homemakers Club. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Donald and Sandi of Brillion, Howard and Barb of Reedsville, and Jeanne and Ralph of Stillwater, OK; one son-in-law: James (Dori) Behnke of Brillion; grandchildren: Tom (Cheryl) Pritzl of Appleton, Robin (Nancy) Pritzl of Little Suamico, Mike (Lisa) Pritzl of De Pere, Megan Pritzl of Sheboygan Falls, Shane Sprangers of Stillwater, OK, Tina (Dale) Galoff of Brillion, Rick (special friend Colleen) Behnke of Reedsville, and Ryan (special friend Kayla) Behnke of Brillion; 13 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Roger (Bette) Schneider of Appleton, Jim (Pat) Schneider of Reedsville, and Mary Rose Schneider of Minot, ND; two sisters-in-law: Mary and Nancy Schneider; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leo, two children: William Pritzl and Nancy Behnke, and two brothers: Clemens and Kenneth Schneider. Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Holy Family Church in Brillion. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Timothy Brandt with burial to follow in Holy Family Cemetery.
