Jeffrey D. Buechel, age 55, of Kiel, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at Willowdale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in New Holstein.

He was born March 28, 1968, at Chilton Hospital to the late Donald & Mary Jane (Flynn) Buechel. Jeff graduated from New Holstein High School in 1986 and received his associate degree from Moraine Park Technical College.

Jeff was employed at Plenco Plastic Engineering Company in Sheboygan and later with Midpoint Machining.

He loved the outdoors and truly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. Jeff was also an avid Packer, Brewer, and Badger fan.

Survivors include his brother & sisters, Margaret Kienbaum of St. Nazianz, Thomas (LuAnn) Buechel of New Holstein, Carol (Dale) Stier of Kiel, and Diane (Joe) Marksman of Kiel; his partner, MaryAnn Gutowski of Kiel; MaryAnn's children, daughter, Emily (Billy) Eisenhauer and her daughter, Azia Zwart; son, Philip (Meg) Gutowski and their two sons, Beau & Wells; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and numerous friends especially those that were there for him these last three months.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Donald & Mary Jane Buechel and his

four-legged companions, Holly, Blaze, and Sierra.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Altona Supper Club, 2306 Calumet Drive, New Holstein, WI 53061.

Jeff's family expresses their heart-felt appreciation to the staff at Willowdale Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion given to him.
