Jeffrey “Jeff” Hill, age 51, of Brillion, courageously battled cancer until passing away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 in his home surrounded by his family and his dogs.
Jeff was born on September 7, 1974 in Manitowoc, son of James “Jim” and the late Jean (Massman) Hill. He was a graduate of Reedsville High School, class of 1993. He worked at Kaysun as the Lead Material Hander for over 25 years. Jeff married Jill Relien on October 20, 2007 at St. Katherine Drexel Parish, Kaukauna Site. They loved each other, embarked on many travels, and shared their ideas and adventures; their joy was raising their daughter Emma and watching her excitement in their adventures. Jeff enjoyed tagging butterflies, natural prairies, snowmobiling, fixing and tinkering with engines, hunting turkey and deer, preservation and conservation and always believed in leaving the world a better place for future generations . He always enjoyed his chevy truck and taking the “fufinannies” wiener dogs for rides around town. Jeff’s love and joy was his family. He wore his Dance Dad shirt with pride, was Emma’s biggest fan, and truly enjoyed watching her grow into the dancer and young woman she is today.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Jill of Brillion; their daughter, Emma; his Dad, Jim of Taus; siblings and in-laws: Jennifer (Jason) Hill-Schuckert of Darboy and Jason (Emily) Hill of New London; mother-in-law: Joan (Jeff) Schabel of Fond du Lac; Alyssa (Tommy) Pierce of Fond du Lac; his beloved nieces and nephews: Brooke, Morgan, Jack, Preston, Anika, Lola, Astrid; his puppies: George and Winnie; his work family, and several close friends as well as many other family members and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by an unborn child; his Mom, Jean; his father-in-law: Gary Relien; dog: Holly; and other relatives.
A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Matt Colle and Deacon Greg Van Thiel. Burial will be in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.
