Jeremy Wesener, age 44 of Hilbert went to heaven on Monday, December 29, 2025.
He was a devoted father, son, brother, boyfriend and friend to many. Jeremy’s life, rich with passion and purpose, was a testament to his unwavering faith and love for those around him. He left behind a legacy that will forever resonate in the hearts of his family and friends.
Born and raised in the loving community of Potter, Jeremy attended Trinity Lutheran School in Rantoul. He loved performing and singing in the school musicals and enjoyed playing basketball with his dad coaching him. He then attended Hilbert High School where he excelled in music and sports. He furthered his education at NWTC, with an associate degree in architecture. This degree combined his artistic flair for design with his desire to create commercial buildings for others.
Jeremy is survived by his beloved children, Oliver and Charlotte, who brought him immense joy and pride. He was the cherished son of Doug and Bonnie (Schroeder) Wesener, and the loving brother of Nathan Wesener, his wife Ashley and their children, Tyson, God Child Addelyn, Evan and Emersyn Wesener. Jeremy’s girlfriend Amy Driscoll, whom shared love and joy creating many memories. He was also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Vernon and Arlene Schroeder and Armand and Nancy Wesener.
An accomplished architect with Utschig Inc of Greenville and the owner of Focal Point Architecture, Jeremy poured his creativity and vision into his work. His passion extended far beyond his work; as he served as a spiritual coach at Appleton Alliance church, guiding children on their spiritual journeys. Jeremy’s commitment to his family was equally profound as he coached baseball for his son, sharing not just the sport but valuable life lessons with the team.
Jeremy had a zest for life that was contagious. He loved to dance, often seen lighting up the dance floor at the Crystal Ballroom. He loved spending time with Lisa and Paul Lauer and enjoyed teaching others how to dance.
With a heart full of goals and dreams, Jeremy aspired to make the world a better place. He shared God’s love and touched everyone with kindness. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire us all.
