Jerry Peterson

Jerry R. Peterson, age 59, of Reedsville, passed away on April 27, 2014 at his residence, surrounded by his family. Jerry was born July 6, 1954 in Mersade, CA. He was a graduate of Denmark High School. On February 7, 2002, he married the former Nancy Pritzl in Manitowoc. Jerry worked at Mirro Aluminum Foundry until it closed. He loved playing baseball, fishing, hunting, white water rafting, helping with the Salmon Derby in Manitowoc, running the WCUB fishing boat, and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife: Nancy of Reedsville; step children: Andrew (special friend Mallory) Hoeffler, Margaret Hoeffler, and Sarah (fiance' Peter Turbide) Hoeffler; one sister: Theresa Beckers of Florida; Sandi (Larry) Cavanaugh, Judy (Bill) Prull, Dennis Pritzl, Mary (LeRoy) Drewieske, Lorraine Gonzalas, and Beth (Dave) Schuh; other relatives, and many friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Rita and Barney Pritzl, brother-in-law: Nick Gonzalas, and other family members. Memorial service will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville.
