Joan Radant, age 74, of 217 MacArthur Ave. Brillion, died on Sunday December 18, 2011 at Garrow Villa in Brillion. She was born on February 12, 1937 in Wrightstown, daughter of the late Walter and Alma (Bornemann) Treichel. She married Jim Radant on September 1, 1957 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. Joan worked at the Brillion Iron Works until her retirement. She loved her flower beds, and golfing and traveling with Jim. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion, the Brillion Womens Club, the Red Hatters, and the Friends of the Library. Joan also volunteered at Shepherds Attic in Chilton. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Scott Loudermilk of Appleton and several nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim on April 28, 2002, a daughter Julie, and a brother Floyd. Funeral service will be held at NOON on Wednesday December 21 at St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Mark Krueger will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Morrison. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
