John J. Keifenheim, age 67, of St. Cloud, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014, at his home.
He was born November 21, 1946 to the late Franklin "Frank" & Valeria (Ditter) Keifenheim. John attended St. Cloud Catholic Grade School and graduated from New Holstein High School in 1965.
John had worked at the former Gilson Mfg. and Toro in Plymouth until his retirement.
John was a member of the East Shore Conservation Club. He was a former member of the St. Cloud Volunteer Fire Dept. John enjoyed golfing and bowling. He coached bowling for New Holstein High School students. He had also been a baseball umpire for many years.
Survivors include his brother, James (Judy) Keifenheim of St. Peter; his sister, Mary (Gerald "JR") Konen of St. Cloud; his niece and goddaughter, Amanda (Mike) James; his nephew, Nickolas (Kim) Konen; his niece Jacki Keifenheim and her special friend, Mike Binder; and great nieces and great nephews, Domonic & Alivia James and Maci & Porter Konen. He is further survived by aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank & Valeria Keifenheim and his brother Alan Keifenheim.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2014, at St. Isidore Parish-St. Cloud Church 924 Main Street in St. Cloud. Rev. Gary Wegner OFM Cap and John's cousin, Rev. Michael Bertram OFM Cap will concelebrate. Inurnment will be in the St. Cloud Catholic Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at the church on Sunday, June 8th, from 2:00 PM until the time of services.
