Joshua Bernard Geiger

Joshua Bernard Geiger, age 37, of Irving, TX, formerly of Brillion, passed away on August 9, 2017.
Josh was born on October 12, 1979 in Green Bay, to his parents Norbert Bernard Geiger Jr. and Colette Kay (Klimesh) Geiger. He was a graduate of Brillion High School, Class of 1999. He went on to further his education at the Universal Technical Institute-Education Trade School in Illinois to become a diesel mechanic. He worked as a diesel mechanic until he developed a love for truck driving. He enjoyed trucking for many years and most recently was employed at Van Krof in Texas.

On April 22, 2010, Josh married Lorinda Phillips on a beautiful Caribbean cruise. They enjoyed hiking and exploring the local trails together. In his early years he enjoyed farming and assisting with the farm responsibilities. He was a great help as he could fix anything and spent much of his free time restoring his 1967 Chevy Truck. He was a member of the Forest Junction Fire Department when he lived in the area. Josh had a heart of gold. He was a wonderful blessing to our entire family and to all that knew him. We will remember him most for his big smile and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever possible. He will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

Josh will not only be survived by, but deeply loved and remembered by his wife, Lorinda Geiger of Irving, TX; his parents: Norbert Geiger Jr. and Colette Geiger of Brillion; his sisters and their spouses: Melissa (Andrew) Ott and their children: Camilla, Kendall, and William of Neenah, and Kayla (Nick) Brenner and their children: Kylie and Brayden of Chilton; grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Brillion.  The Rev. Ross Henzi will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, Brillion.

Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
