Joyce A. (Steiner) Schoenborn, age 73, formerly of Marytown, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Kindred Hearts Assisted Living in Plymouth. She was born July 8, 1948, to the late Elroy & Romilda "Millie" (Rieth) Steiner. Joyce graduated from New Holstein High School in 1966. On June 1, 1968, she married Roger Schoenborn at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marytown. Roger preceded her in death on October 22, 2019. Joyce had worked at Sargento Foods in Kiel until her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holyland Parish-St. Mary Church in Marytown. Survivors include her two children, Randy (Doris) Schoenborn of Plymouth and Sandy (Rich) Nordell of Reeds, MO; her grandchildren, Alexis (Mitch) Rollow, Zachary, E.J., Hunter, & Saylor Schoenborn, Tiffany DeVillers-O'Bryan, Devon Nordell (fiancée, Rose), Allysia Nordell; her sisters, Audry (Jim) Mueller of Fond du Lac, Lori (Jim "PeeWee") Heus of rural New Holstein "Marytown", and Shirley (John) Marteeny of the Villages, FL; her sister-in-law, Verena Bennet & special friend, Melvin "Putz" Lisowe of Chilton; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, Elroy & Mildred Steiner; her husband, Roger; a grandson-in-law, Alex O'Bryan; two brothers, Allen & John Steiner; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law, Jacob & Bertha Schoenborn; and her brothers-in-law, Joe Karls and Randy Moioffer. A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Our Lady of the Holyland Parish-St. Mary Church in Marytown (N10232 County Road G, New Holstein, WI 53061). Rev. Randy Knauf, OFM Cap will officiate. Joyce will be laid to rest next to husband, Roger, in the church cemetery following the Mass. The family will provide masks at church for anyone attending.
