Joyce Irene Zorn, age 89, of Brillion passed into eternal life as the sun was rising on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, after a brief illness. Born on the family farm near Rhinelander, WI, Joyce Irene Wiedeman was the youngest child of Henry and Martha (Hendrickson) Wiedeman. She married Allen O. Zorn on November 17, 1945 and moved to Brillion, where they lived until Allen's death in 2003. Joyce enjoyed many creative arts including sewing, cooking and various crafts. She was a gifted organizer and record keeper. She volunteered countless hours for the Brillion Historical Society and Museum, and was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church. Joyce is survived by two daughters, Ann M. Ruleau of Appleton and Rev. Nancy Zorn Micke (Dale Micke) of Eagle River, WI, granddaughter Tina Schultz of Fond du Lac, Sisters and brothers-in -law Mary Ann and Chet Zorn of Brillion, Erling Petersen of Zionsville, IN, and Betty Lou Zorn of Salinas, KS, and many nieces and nephews. She was a generous and loving grandmother to five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Faith United Methodist Church in Brillion. The Rev. Jean Schmidt will officiate. Burial will be in the Brillion Village Cemetery.
