Judith "Judy" A. Stahl

Judith A. “Judy” Stahl, age 81, formerly of Reedsville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2025 surrounded by her family at Lakehouse of New Holstein.

Judy was born on June 7, 1944 in Algoma, daughter of the late Emil and Bernice (Herleche) Rodrian. She was a graduate of Algoma High School and Green Bay Vocational & Adult Education College. On August 7, 1965 she married Leroy Stahl. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary two days before she passed. Judy worked a variety of jobs over the years including the Mirro Company, the Reedsville Coop, Lakeside and the Subway in Brillion. She was a member of St. John – St. James Lutheran Church in Reedsville for many years. Judy enjoyed ceramics, square dancing, word searches, reading, crocheting, watching TV, knitting, plastic canvas, sewing (especially Barbie outfits) and humming while she worked. Sadly, she struggled with health issues for most of her life, but more than anything she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years: Leroy Stahl; one son: Darrell (Monica) Stahl; and their children: Kristin Stahl (fiancé Michael) and Ryan Stahl (fiancée Robin); one daughter: Jenny (Mike) Miller; and their children: Ashley (Sin) Weina and Alyssa Stahl; one great grandson: Alois; one brother: Dennis (Jan) Rodrian; one sister: Diane (Rudy) Pavlat; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Susan Metz, Sharon Holda, Lloyd Stahl (special friend Joy), Janice Post, Jean (Paul) Loderbauer, Sheryl O’Connor, Cathey (Dave) Cherney and Sandi Seitzer. Nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Brenda Ann; her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Nicholas & Lola Stahl; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Marge (John) Nething, Greg Stahl, Francis Metz, Sr., Sylvan Stahl, Robert Holda, Sr., Barb Stahl, Francis Post, Gary Stahl, Sr., Roger O’Conner, Fred Seitzer, Lou Ann Stahl and Marlene Stahl.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at St. John – St. James Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Thad Flitter with burial to take place at St. John – St. James Cemetery on Highway W.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Kelly and the other nurses of Bristol Hospice, Trisha and the other nurses of Aurora Hospice and the caring staff at Lakehouse of New Holstein for all the care given to Judy recently and over the past few years. We would also like to thank Pastor Aden and Pastor Flitter for all the times they came to visit Judy and Leroy.
