Juliana "Judy" (Schad) Thuecks, age 98, of New Holstein, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Caring Hands in New Holstein where she's resided for past 7 years.

She was born April 17, 1927, in School Hill to Alois & Rose (Binversie) Schad. Judy attended Holy Trinity Catholic School in School Hill. On June 3, 1947, she married Roman Thuecks at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. Roman preceded her in death on March 15, 2006.

Judy was employed for many years at the former Leverenz Shoe Company in New Holstein. She also enjoyed selling Avon Products. Throughout the winter months, she & Romy retreated to the warm sunshine of Florida.

Survivors include her son, Tom (Beth) Thuecks of rural Kiel (Wilkes Lake); two granddaughters, Laura (Peter) Graven and Samantha Thuecks; two greatgrandchildren, Nolan & Wynston Graven; her sister-in-law, Joan Schad of New Holstein; numerous nieces; and nephews.

Preceeding her in death were here husband, Roman "Romy"; her parents, Alois & Rose Schad; sisters, Lorreta (Bill) Schuler, Marcella "Sally" (Russell) Lutzke, Dorothy (Roman) Wiskerchen, Marion (Laverne) Rach, and Catherine "Katie" (Allen) Quackenboss; her brothers, Joe (Joyce) Schad, Robert (Esther) Schad, Leroy (Dorothy) Schad, and Albert Schad; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John & Rose Thuecks; and brothers-in-law, Roland (Ethel) Thuecks and Jerry (Donna) Thuecks.

A Liturgy of the Word Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI 53061. Deacon Bernard Knier will officiate. Judy will be laid to rest next to her husband, Romy, in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in New Holstein.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Judy's family at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein on Saturday, February 21st from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM.
