Kathleen A. (Bauer) Fett, age 61, of New Holstein passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 20, 2018, at her home due to complications with an illness. She was born June 14, 1957, to Rosalie (Boni) Bauer and the late James Bauer. Kathy attended New Holstein High School and graduated in 1975. She received her nursing degree from Lakeland College and went on to receive her master's degree from Silver Lake College. On November 29, 1980, she married Charles Fett at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. Kathy's nursing degree carried her to many institutions; most recently she was employed at SSM Health in Fond du Lac. She enjoyed running, gardening, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Kathy was known for her outgoing personality and energy; her desire to help others and her ability to overcome challenges that she faced. Kathy is survived by her husband, Charles; her three daughters, Talia (James) McCabe of Tomah, WI, Lauran (Ben) Buechel of Chilton, WI and Sallie (Joey) Rabe of DeForest, WI; three grandchildren, Madilynn, Charlie, and Esme McCabe; her mother, Rosalie Bauer of Elkhart Lake; her sister, Paula (Will) Pethan of New Holstein; her brother, Andy (Maureen) Bauer of Madison; her sister-in-law, Clare Bauer of Madison; her brothers-in-law, Marc Fett of New Holstein, Allan Jr. (Dianne) Fett of New Holstein, Jim (Barbara) Fett of Stockbridge, and David (Deb) Fett of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, James Bauer; her brother, Tim Bauer; and her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Allan Sr. & Dolores Fett. A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street, New Holstein, WI 53061. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum in Appleton. Visitation: Family and friends may visit with the family at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI 53061 on Monday, September 24th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM.
