Kathleen Rose (Pickart) Meyer, age 68, of Mount Calvary, passed away with her family at her side on Sunday, August 13, 2023, following a battle with cancer for the past year and a half.

She was born August 9, 1955, to the late Jerome & Dolores (Enders) Pickart.

Kathy was an avid Packer fan. She loved painting, crafting, baking, going for golf cart rides, and the Christmas holiday; but most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren. In addition to raising her children, she was a foster parent for well over 100 children during her lifetime.

She is survived by three children, Jason (Jolene) Meyer, Amy (Tim) Pickart, and Travis Meyer (Kelly May) all of Fond du Lac; two adopted children, Ilene Meyer of Milwaukee and Amber (Keegan) Garman of Dixon, IL; eight grandchildren, Connor, Makayla, Elizabeth Meyer, Cody, Noah, and Dalani Pickart, Aaryn Carlson, and Jalayne (Mitch) Miskov; her sisters, Sandra Pickart, Sharon (Steve) Kraus, Diane (Gary) Sippel, Geri Burns, Christine (Ronald) White all of Mount Calvary, Cindy (Kirk) Neese of Fond du Lac, Patricia (Paul) Schmitz of St. Peter, and Mary (Dennis) Schill of DePere. Kathy is further survived by many nieces; nephews; aunts; an uncle; and best friend, Suzanne Muellenbach as well as other relatives.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Jerome & Dolores Pickart and a brother-in-law, David Burns.

Kathy's family expresses their heart-felt appreciation to Suzanne Muellenbach; her aunt, Verna Fahrbach; her sisters, Christine, Geri, and Sandy; her grandson, Cody; and the staff members from Hospice and the Cancer Center of Fond du Lac. Your help during her illness was very much appreciated.

Per Kathy's wishes, private services will be held at a later date.
