Lawrence "Honda" J. Rieder, age 62, of St. Cloud, gained his wings on Friday, April 9, 2021, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee with his family at his side. He was born November 1, 1958, in Fond du Lac to Robert & Isabell (Dugelman Baumgartner) Rieder. Larry graduated from New Holstein High School in 1977. On January 20, 1992, he married Bonnie Immel in Las Vegas. Larry was most recently employed with Weasler Manufacturing in West Bend. He was a former member of the St. Cloud Volunteer Fire Department and the Riverside Hunting & Fishing Club. He enjoyed watching his daughter, Sam, play softball as well as watching the Brewers games. He was an avid hunter & fisherman; he liked spending time at the "Shack". Survivors include his wife, Bonnie; his daughter, Sam (Ryan) Schatzke of Eureka, WI; his four-legged companion, Lucy; his brother, Vic "Red" (Val) Baumgartner; his sister-in-law, Sandy Baumgartner; his brother-in-law, Steve (Judy) Thiede all of St. Cloud; his wife's family, Bruce Immel of Eden, Brian Immel of Campbellsport, Larry Immel of Fond du Lac, and Jason (April) Immel of Cascade. He is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, Robert Baumgartner; his sister, Patricia Thiede; and his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Sam & Susan Immel. Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at the Sippel Funeral Home, 1311 Thorp Street, St. Cloud, WI 53079. Cremation will follow the services.
