Lawrence S. Kohlmann, age 89, previously of W9086 County Road T, Glenbeulah WI, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022. He was born May 14, 1933, in the town of Forest, near Mount Calvary, WI, a son of the late Leo & Sylvia (Sippel) Kohlmann. Lawrence attended St. Cloud Elementary School. On November 8, 1952, he married Anna Burkart at St. Fridolin's Catholic Church in Glenbeulah. He worked on the family farm, WD Scott Lumber in Glenbeulah, and as a carpenter for Roland Steffes Carpentry in St. Cloud, Woodcrest Corporation in Fond Du Lac, Lee Realty in Sheboygan until he retired in 1998, and a handyman for many years. He was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church of rural Eden. Survivors include his wife Anna (Burkart) Kohlmann previously of Glenbeulah; one daughter Mary (Luis) Cabellero of Mayville: five sons, Richard (Jan) of Milwaukee, Thomas of Appleton, Timothy of Cascade, Donald (SueAnn) of Kiel, Kenneth of Cascade; seven grandkids, Michael (Debora), Steven (Sandra), Daniel (Stephanie), Scott (Gina), Luke (Brittney), James (Cortney) Kohlmann, and Mindy (Tim) Artz; 11 great grandchildren, Sophia & Arabelle, Clarissa, Veronica, & Dorothy, Colton & Dalton, Paige & Payton, Kohlmann, Ava & Aly Artz; his three brothers, Stanley of Milwaukee, David (Ruth) of North Fond Du Lac, & Herman of Mayville, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Ramilda (Walter) Rathke and one brother Aloysius, Sisters-in-Law Lenora Kohlmann, Lorrie Kohlmann. He will be missed by his many friends and handyman customers. A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden, WI 53019. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate. Lawrence will be laid to rest in the Our Lady of Angels Catholic Cemetery in Armstrong.
