Obituary

Leatrice Williams, 59, of New Holstein passed away Monday morning December 14, 2009 at her home. She was born October 4, 1950 the daughter of the late Ervin & Lorraine Halbach Schmitz. Lea attended St. Ann Grade School in St. Anna and Elkhart Lake High School. Lea married Robert Williams on May 15, 1971 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in St. Anna. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein, the New Holstein American Legion Auxiliary and was employed with Sargento Foods in Kiel. Survivors include her husband, Robert Williams; her daughter, Judi (Brent) Killackey and their children, Bryce, Benjamin and Brianna of Franklin; her son, Joe (Carrie) Williams and their children, Austin, Jena and Kailey of Kiel; her 6 brothers and 5 sisters, Roger (Judy) Schmitz of Elkhart Lake, Diane (Dennis) Lenz of Kiel, Marilyn Ramminger of Kiel, Carol Walters of St. Anna, Jerry (Patt) Schmitz of Kiel, Delores (Glen) Neils of Kiel, Judy (Pat) O'Neil of Plymouth, Cyril (Kay) Schmitz of Kiel, Jim (Dori) Schmitz of Elkhart Lake, Dave (Lynn) Schmitz of St. Cloud and Steve (Linda) Schmitz of St. Anna; many nieces & nephews; her mother-in-law, Veronica Williams of New Holstein; brother-in-law, Lester (Barb) Williams of New Holstein; her sister-in-law, Donna Schmitz of Elkhart Lake and her many good friends from work especially Mary & Daryl Renzelmann and Lori Keltesch. Preceding her in death were her parents, Ervin & Lorraine Schmitz; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Mattie & Evangeline Williams; her brother, Ken Schmitz; her brothers-in-law, Tony Ramminger, Ed Walters and Tom Williams and a nephew, Brad Schmitz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday December 17, 2009 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 1724 Madison Street New Holstein. Rev. Harold Berryman, Pastor, will officiate. Cremation will follow the traditional services with inurnment taking place at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Kohler at a later date. Family and friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Ave. New Holstein on Wednesday December 16th from 3-8 PM and again on Thursday morning from 9-10 AM when brief family rites will be held at the funeral home. The New Holstein American Legion Auxiliary will conduct services at 5:30 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home..A prayer service will be held at the funeral home Wednesday evening at 7:45 PM.
