Lee Richard Radtke, age 47, of Wisconsin Dells, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 6, 2014. Lee was born on February 18, 1967 in Green Bay, son of Fred and Bette (Weber) Radtke. He was raised in Reedsville; attending St. Mary's Catholic Grade School and graduated from Reedsville High School, class of 1985. Lee also attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for his undergraduate degree in Physical Education and later for his Masters Degree. He was a teacher by profession. Lee was also a track coach, previously taught religious education classes in La Crosse, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, running, and bicycling. He cycled his way all over Wisconsin and all the way to Maine. Lee especially loved nature. He authored the book "Rock Mount Farm," a book on hunting and friendships, as well as other articles on hunting, bicycling, and nature. Lee also enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his parents: Fred and Bette of Chilton; three siblings and their spouses: Jeffrey (Carolyn) of New Berlin, Tod (Diane) of Wrightstown, and Jane (Jeff) Redlin of Pulaski; nieces and nephews: Elizabeth, Martha, Anne, and Claire Radtke, Nick and Ben Redlin, Abby and Amber Radtke; special family friend: Fr. Kucharski; godparents: Mary Kuhl and Richard Stiefvater; aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends. Lee was preceded in death by his grandparents: Elmer and Alma Radtke and Clem and Margaret Weber, and other relatives. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Fr. Timothy Brandt, Fr. John Becker, and Fr. Kucharski with burial in St. Mary Cemetery in Reedsville.
