Leona E. (Thede) Reinemann, age 88, of New Holstein, left this world on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, to be reunited in heaven with her husband, Clifford, the love of her life.

She was born June 14, 1934, New Holstein to William & Emaline (Volkmar) Thede. On January 18, 1975, she married Clifford Reinemann at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Sheboygan. Clifford preceded her in death on November 1, 1990.

Leona was a hard working woman. She had a 30+ year career at Leverenz Shoe Company. She loved fishing for perch and walleye with her husband and playing sheepshead with family and friends.

Leona is survived by her siblings, Edna (Terry) Ninneman of Fond du Lac, Laverne Cegielnik of Pocatello, Idaho, and Roland (Katherine) Thede of New Holstein; a sister-in-law, Ruth Thede of Chilton. She is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, William & Emaline Thede; her husband, Clifford; two sisters, Alice (Elwood) Hintz and Laura (John "Jack") Bangert; and a brother, Vernon Thede.

Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Avenue New Holstein, WI 53061. Rev. David Kohls will officiate. Leona will be laid to rest next to her husband, Clifford, in the New Holstein Cemetery.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Leona's family at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein on Sunday, January 15th from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM.
