LeRoy C. Brys, 83, of Malone "Pipe", passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, January 19, 2018.
He was born July 19, 1934, in Milwaukee to George & Evelyn (Leibundgut) Brys. LeRoy attended Gesu Grade School in Milwaukee. On July 17, 1954, he married Dolores "Dee" Braun.
LeRoy worked for the Milwaukee School Board for many years. In 1975, he and his wife and family moved up to Malone area where they owned and operated Dee & Lee's in Columbia Park. They also operated the former Country Inn in Marytown for two years. His last business venture was owning D & L Coin; serving many of the area bars and restaurants.
LeRoy had his pilot license; he enjoyed flying his Cessna 150 which took him and his wife around to many destinations throughout the country. He greatly enjoyed taking friends and family on trips also. Woodworking was his passion.
Survivors include his wife, Dee; his children, Mark (Pam) Brys of Oak Creek, Deborah (Dale) Bolton of Chilton "Quinney", Kim (Brian) Pfeifer of Malone "Pipe", Tammy (Steve) Stephany of Malone "Calumetville", and Penny (Chuck) Sippel of New Holstein "Marytown"; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; his brother, Richard (Pat) Brys of Greendale; and his sister-in-law, Martha Brys of Alaska. He is further survived by nieces; nephews, other relatives and friends and his four-legged friend, Molly.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two grandchildren, Eve & Holly; a great-granddaughter, Rae-Rae and his brother, Wally Brys.
Per LeRoy's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will not be any formal services.
