Leroy Leo VandeVoort, age 65 of 411 Roselawn Dr. Brillion, died on Saturday September 24, 2011 at his home. He was born on April 1, 1946 in Little Chute, son of the late Joseph & Helen (Hermsen) VandeVoort. He married Sandrea Brick on August 24, 1966 in Askeaton. Leroy worked at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein for over 42 years until his retirement. He liked to camp with family and friends and attend country music festivals. Survivors include his wife Sandrea, his children Kelly VandeVoort and special friend Patrick Schnell of Brillion, Scott VandeVoort of Brillion, 3 grandchildren April, Tara, and Brittany Boehnlein, a step grandson Adam (Amber) Boehnlein, 3 great grandchildren Addison, Eli, and Landon, 2 brothers Marv (Judy) VandeVoort of Brothertown, Bob (Arlene) VandeVoort of Little Chute, 5 sisters-in-law, 7 brothers-in-law, 1 step brother-in-law, and many other relatives and friends. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter-in-law Dawn VandeVoort, 2 brothers Joe and Roger, his stepmother Mary Lou, step sister Cathy Arnoldussen, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Lucille and Jim Brick. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday September 28 at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
