Lester G. Blackburn, age 87, of New Holstein, formerly of Green Bay and Redgranite, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016. He was born May 5, 1928, in the Neshkoro/Wautoma area to Earnest & Rose (Baird) Blackburn. He married Lucille Peterson; she preceded him in death on September 18, 1991. Lester is survived by his three children, Jean (Mark) Callies-Volek of Redgranite, Louise (Tom) Cebery of Sparta and Chester (Donna) Blackburn of New Holstein; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; He is further survived by other relatives and friends. A memorial service celebrating Lester's life will be held at 2:30 PM at the Lion's Hall in Redgranite, 161 Deerborn Street, on Saturday, April 16, 2016. Family and friends may gather at the Lion's Hall on Saturday, April 16th from 1:30 PM until the time of services.
