Lewis A. Pfeffer, age 86, of Brillion, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Brillion Westhaven. Lewie was born on September 28, 1928 in Chilton, son of the late Lloyd and Matilda (Weininger) Pfeffer. He was a graduate of Brillion High School, class of 1947. Lewie served our country in the United States Army. He married Jeanette Radloff on November 27, 1954 in Brillion. Lewie worked at the Brillion Iron Works until retirement. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the American Legion Post 126 of Brillion. Lewie and Jeanette enjoyed playing sheephead, bowling, and traveling. The couple also enjoyed fishing and spending time at their cabin on Lake Winnebago. Their family was also very important to them. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jeanette of Brillion; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends. Lewie was preceded in death by two brothers: Florian (Kathleen) Pfeffer and an infant brother, John Pfeffer; one sister-in-law: Florence (John) Draheim; and two brothers-in-law: Vic (Rita) Radloff and Kenneth (Virginia) Radloff; and other relatives. Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial is the Rev. Timothy Brandt. Burial in Brillion Town Cemetery.
