Lillian Maas

December 20, 1944 — December 23, 2022

Lillian Maas, age 78, of Brillion passed away peacefully on December 23rd 2022 at Garrow Villa in Brillion.

Lillian was born December 20th 1944 in Lebanon, WI to the late Fred A. & Adalia (Gritzmacher) Maas. She grew up with her siblings in Lebanon and later moved to Brillion where she has resided for more than 20 years. She was an active member at Immanuel Lutheran church in Old Lebanon and later at St. Bartholomew Lutheran church in Brillion. She loved spending quality time with her family, going for drives, coloring, dogs of all shapes and sizes, and of course the Green Bay Packers. She collected knick knacks, and loved trips to Rudy’s diner with family.

Lillian is survived by one brother-in-law, Eugene Stache and one sister-in-law, Betty Maas. Lillian is further survived by four nieces and a nephew, Mary, Bonnie, Annie, Karen, and Jeff. Numerous other nieces and nephews further survive.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses, Frieda (Armin) Stache, Fred “Fritz” Maas, Otto (Beverly) Maas, Anita Stache, Florence (Gobel) Loomis, and Esther (Herman) Jischkowski, as well as a nephew, Paul Stache.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on January 2nd at St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion. Officiating will be Rev. Joshua Brandmahl. Burial will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Rantoul.

Friends may call at the church on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
