Linda F. Richter

Linda F. (Snyder) Richter, age 72, a Brillion resident, died Monday, April 5, 2021. She was born on April 3, 1949 in California, daughter of the late John & Marjorie Snyder. Linda attended and graduated from high school in California. She and Ron met as pen pals. She then decided to take a trip to visit Ron, and it was love at first sight. On November 18, 1967 she married Ronald J. Richter at United Church of Christ, Kaukauna. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2018. Linda loved Ron very much and enjoyed helping him with his garden and flowers. She was employed at Memorial Florist, Neenah and also Piggly Wiggly, Brillion. Linda really could do anything, from organic gardening and farmers markets, taxidermy, and sewing. She truly cared for everyone, and she especially loved her family. Survivors include a son: Dan (Lisa) Richter of New Mexico and their children: Katrina, Ashley and Jon; a daughter: Cindy (Dan) Hakkert of Chilton and their family: Alex (special friend Cheyenne) and Colin; two godchildren: Jeff and Annie and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws: John and Lanieta (Bowe) Richter; a brother-in-law and his wife: Delmar (Ruby) Richter and two sisters-in-law: Irene Windsor and Ilera “Helen” Heckel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at The Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion. Officiating at the Service will be the Rev. Dale Eggert with burial at Brillion Community Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021 and Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. Online condolences may be made at www.pielhopwieting.com
