Lisa Piper, age 57, of Brillion, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 due to an illness.
Lisa was born on December 17, 1962 in Illinois, daughter of the late Dwayne and Madonna (Holmes) Van Wychen. She was a graduate of Appleton East High School, class of 1980. Lisa worked at Metalware in Two Rivers, Federal Mogul in Manitowoc, and most recently worked at Ariens Co in Brillion. Lisa had a zest for life. She would show her love and appreciation for her family and friends by having fabulous parties and gatherings for them. The party was always perfect, right down to every last detail. She was so generous, charitable, helpful, and would trust easily. Lisa also was an extremely talented artist, owning a business for a time selling her work. From painting to sketching, and even ceramics, she could pick up a medium and turn it into something beautiful. She married the love of her life Dave in 2002. They were a carefree, loving couple. Whether they were listening to country music and dancing at home in their living room, or out and about with other friends and family, they loved each other and showed it all of the time. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2018. They are finally able to be together again.
She is survived by her two children: Lenora Preston and boyfriend Brett and Cody Preston; her grandchildren: Chevella, Sadie, Leighla; a sister: Denise Baldwin; a half-sister: Tammy (“B”) Brockmann; a step brother: Timothy Van Wychen; her ex-husband and friend: Kevin Preston, “adopted” children, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dave, one grandson: Jameson, and other relatives.
A private celebration of Lisa’s life will be held.
