Loraine Schneider, formerly or rural St. Cloud (Town of Forest), passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. She was born in Beach, North Dakota, on January 15, 1930, to Theodore (Ted) Becker and Mary (née Meyers) Becker. She married Lloyd Johnson and had four children: Diane Johnson, Donna (Frank) Radetski, and Tom Johnson, all of Florida, and one stillborn baby.

In September of 1970, she married James A. Schneider. Jim had five children, all of whom became like her own: Leo (Mary) Schneider of Sheboygan, Kathy (Gerry) Salm of Newton, Nick (Cricket) Schneider of St. Cloud, Karen (Dale) Kraus of St. Peter, and Mary (Steve) Kuipers of Columbus.

Loraine also leaves behind nineteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers: Gordon (Marian) Becker of New London and Carl (Janice) Becker of Sheboygan; one sister, Ione Beimborn; a brother-in-law, Henry Schneider of St. Cloud; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Wettstein of Fond du Lac and Sue Becker of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim Schneider; her parents and in-laws; her brothers, Ted (Phyllis) Becker, Alton Becker, and Leroy Becker; her brother-in-law, Harvey (Lorraine) Schneider; and her sister-in-law, Henrietta Schneider.

Loraine and Jim enjoyed many years of traveling after their retirement from the farm. She found comfort in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was tending to her vegetable garden in years past or, up until her death, enjoying a friendly game of sheepshead or other card games. Loraine cherished the moments spent with family and friends.

Loraine leaves behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and generosity. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

The family wishes to thank the loving and caring staff of Villa Rosa for all their support over the past three years.

Per Loraine's wishes, a small cemetery service and celebration of life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the Campbellsport FFA Alumni or the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Foundation, causes close to Loraine's heart.
