Obituary

Loraine H. (Fuhrmann) Mueller, 95, of St. Cloud passed away May 4th, 2013 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home while she was receiving hospice care. She was born December 30, 1917 in St. Joe, WI a daughter of Christ and Katherine (Werschem) Fuhrmann. She was the youngest of 14 siblings where she grew up on her family homestead. Loraine attended St. Joseph Catholic Grade School in St. Joe. On September 3, 1938, she married Arthur Mueller. After their marriage they resided in St. Cloud on a small farm, where she was the proud mother of 5 children. She was a member of St. Isidore Parish - St. Cloud Church in St. Cloud and the Christian Mothers Society. Loraine loved her family, especially her 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She took pride in her large vegetable and flower gardens, enjoyed doing crafts, and playing cards. She was the biggest Brewers fan. Loraine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur, on January 4, 2002; an infant son, John, in November 1963; and 12 siblings, 7 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by her five children, Larry (Gladys) of Mt. Calvary, Bob (Karen) of Fond du Lac, Don (Kathie) of Appleton, Gene (Linda) of St. Cloud, and Linda (Herman) Timm of New Holstein; 12 grandchildren Dan (Lisa) Mueller, Julie Mueller and partner Joni, Jodi (Steve) Ottery, Jill (Mike) Feldner, Dawn (Mark) Stacey, Rick (Christine) Mueller, Kristi (Sean) Van Ess, Cassie (Dave) Murray, Nikki (Dan) Hanke, Pam (Joe) Mand, Ryan Timm, and Jennifer (Sam) Depies; 20 great-grandchildren, Zachary, C.J., and Samantha Mueller, Ali, Brennan, Collin, and Destiny Ottery, Eric and Abigail Feldner, Tyler, Dylan, and Karson Stacey, Camden and Mikayda Mueller, Quinn Van Ess, Moses Murray, Ethan Hanke, Jackson, Carter, and Eli Mand. She is further survived by one sister, Flora, of West Allis, one sister-in-law Henrietta Mueller of Fond du Lac. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at St. Isidore Parish – St. Cloud Church 924 Main Street in St. Cloud. Rev. Gary Wegner OFM Cap. will officiate. Loraine will be laid to rest in the St. Cloud Catholic Cemetery. Visitation: Family and friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home 1311 Thorp Street in St. Cloud on Monday, May 6th from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. There is no visitation at the funeral home Tuesday morning, only Monday evening. A memorial fund will be established in her name.
